Event ID 2937 MSExchange ADAccess

Hi,

I’d like to post an article about a warning log that appears in MS Exchange 2013 server and how to fix it.

The error log is the following.

2937 MSExchange ADAccess

Process Microsoft.Exchange.RpcClientAccess.Service.exe (PID=9384). Object [CN=Text Messaging Delivery Agent Connector,CN=Connections,CN=Exchange Routing Group (DWBGZMFD01QNBJR),CN=Routing Groups,CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=FirstOrganization,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=DomainName,DC=local]. Property [HomeMtaServerId] is set to value [DomainName.local/Configuration/Deleted Objects/Microsoft MTA
DEL:353bb8df-7046-4794-94e3-3e4737ac411a], it is pointing to the Deleted Objects container in Active Directory. This property should be fixed as soon as possible.

In order to fix this issue, following the steps below.

– Open the Microsoft ADSI editor > Configuration Naming Convention > Navigate to:
a. CN=Configuration, DC-Domain, DC=Domain
b. CN=Services
c. CN=Microsoft Exchange
d. CN=Organization Name
e. CN=Administrative Groups
f. CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)
g. CN=Routing Group
h. CN=Exchange Routing Groups
i. CN=Exchange Routing Group (DWBGZMFD01QNBJR)
j. CN=Connections
– Right Click on CN=Text Messaging Delivery Agent Connector > properties > find HomeMTA attribute > change the value to be the same value of  HomeMTA’s Internet connector.
– Restart the Microsoft Transport Server services on the server or restart the server just to make sure all the services restarted.
– Confirm this steps: https://abdullrhmanfarram.wordpress.com/2013/05/27/warning-event-2937-msexchange-adaccess/
